Biotronix Healthcare’s hydrocolloid wound dressing are made of a wound contact layer of hydrocolloids and a top layer of either semi-permeable polyurethane film.
On contact with wound surface, the Biotronix hydrocolloid wound dressings create a moist environment, which can reduce pain, promote the formation of granulating tissue, prohibit bacterial infections and speed up the healing process.
• Maintains an optimal moist wound environment.
• Good absorbency for exudation from the wound
• Provides a physical barrier to aid in preventing bacterial
contamination of the wound.
• Waterproof and permeable
• Excellent elasticity and self-adhesive, feels comfortable
